The business is 100% owned by a South 
African Female from the previously 
disadvantaged group. The main business is to 
supply goods and services, construction, 
maintenance, repairs, security, and guarding 
and other related services to private 
companies, government institutions, and 
individuals in the community throughout South Africa. 

Vukama Trading (Pty) Ltd is a multi-disciplinary 
company, with proven capabilities over a wide range of different technical fields in the 
Civil Engineering Industry since 2016.
Vukama Trading is registered with the Construction Industry Development Board as 
a contractor with the ability to perform work within the 4CE PE, 1GB scope.
Vukama Trading is Registered with the Bargaining Council for Contract Cleaning 
Service Industry ( BCCCI)
Vukama Trading is a BBBEE Level One Contributor with 100% black woman owned.

OUR TEAM

Phola Ngubane– Founder and Chairperson
Phola co-founded Vukama in 2016 and for the 
past 5 years occupied the position of
CEO of the Company. She represents Vukama's 
majority shareholder Phola holds LLB and MBA 
degrees. Phola isan Attorney of the High Court of 
South Africa and with a broad background
in BBBEE, procurement, insolvency. Phola's
vast experience and hands-on approach has 
made him a well-known and respected player in 
the industry.
